SUGGUNA LANKA

Sugguna lanka is a village in Kollur Mandal of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh in India.Sugguna lanka is 5.8 km far from its Mandal Main Town  Kollur .The name of this village is derived from the surname Sugguna. This village is situated 20 km from Tenali and 50 km from Guntur city. The nearest airport is Gannavaram airport, Andhra Pradesh. This is an island in the Krishna River.

Agriculture

The main crop is paddy and these people cultivate a wide variety of crops throughout the year. Kanda, banana and turmeric are also cultivated.

Religion

Most people follow Hinduism. Some people practice Christianity.

Prominent Festivals

Pongal is the main festival celebrated in the month of January. Diwali, Ugadi, and Srirama Navami, and Christmas are also celebrated with great enthusiasm.
